Calling our ranch regenerative is a bold claim. We have the data to back it up.
We love ranching but, honestly, it is just a front for the work we love even more- healing our family’s land into abundance. And creating community with other farmers to learn from one another and create impactful shifts.
We chose to lead the charge in Amador County and work with the Savory Institute to collect samples of forage, soil, and design long-term transects to capture ecosystem change. After gathering baseline samples, the transects will be monitored over a ten year period to verify that our management is actually generating increased soil health and biodiversity. Our elegantly rustic 150-year old barn has the perfect patina for a smaller “indoor” venue. Ione wabi sabi is just right for intimate and convivial occasions.
